BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

While most of the nation was watching to see who would be elected to political office Tuesday night, we in the WLOX Newsroom were on babywatch! Tuesday at 6:11 p.m., WLOX Meteorologist Carrie Duncan gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

Mom tells us he weighed 8lbs 1oz, is 21.75" long, and has a head full of hair. In a text to the newsroom, Carrie told us, "Mom and Dad are completely smitten!"

Carrie and her husband, Dan, have not yet announced a name for their little one, but we hear they have narrowed their choices down to just two options. Be sure to "like" the WLOX Facebook page, because we'll be posting the name whenever Carrie and Dan decide what to name their new addition!
