Halloween safety programs offered today and tomorrow

We are just days away from Halloween.

Thousands of ghosts and goblins will fill South Mississippi streets.

While the night is about collecting candy, officials want to make sure your kids have a safe and fun holiday.

The Hancock County Library System will hold two safety programs.

One will be at 6 p.m. Monday, at the Bay St. Louis-Hancock County Library.

The other will be Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the Klin Public Library.

Law enforcement will be on hand to talk to the kids about trick-or-treating safety.

Kids dress up and compete in a costume contest to win prizes.

The safety program is put on by Coast Electric Power and the Hancock County Library.
