HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - MDOT will spend this weekend making repairs to the inside lanes of the Pearl River bridge. That means I-10 at the Mississippi/Louisiana line will be down to one lane. Just like last weekend, driver can expect bumper-to-bumper traffic about two miles before they reach the bridge.
Last Saturday, it took some drivers 20-30 minutes to merge into a single lane at the Stennis Space Center exit and slowly roll over the bridge.
Saints fans might want to keep the construction project in mind as they head to New Orleans for Sunday night's football game versus Green Bay. You will be caught by the I-10 bridge work. Leaving for the game about 30 minutes earlier than you normally do is advised.
