Good Morning America Anchor and South Mississippi's own Robin Roberts has a new honor. She is now in the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame. She was inducted Monday night in New York for her 30 years of work in television. There cheering her on were her co-workers from Good Morning America.
"I look at this room and the vast accomplishments of everybody in this room and in this industry. And I look at these two tables and I know how blessed and lucky I am to be your colleague. Thank you again for the example that each one of you set in this beautiful, challenging, crazy industry that we all love. And, I thank you from the bottom of my heart," said Roberts.
The GMA team celebrated with Robin calling her the leader of our team, the captain of our ship, the heart of ABC News.
