LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) - Long Beach school officials are continuing their probe into the conduct of one of their high school principals.
Peter Dabbs was suspended from his job as principal of Long Beach High School early in the school year following accusations that he was sending inappropriate text messages to a teacher.
His attorney, Wayne Woodall, says district officials resumed their hearing Friday and presented the rest of their witnesses against Dabbs.
Woodall says the hearing resumes in two weeks. That's when they will present their own witnesses.
Eventually, the school board will use transcripts from those hearings to determine Dabbs' future at Long Beach High School.
