BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) - Bay St. Louis Public Works Director Buddy Zimmerman tells WLOX News the city wide boil water notice has been lifted.
The notice went into effect Tuesday after city officials say the city's water supply was compromised.
Zimmerman said a MotorSaver, which is a protection switch for the city's main wells, was knocked out early Tuesday morning by overnight storms. Officials tell us the controls on all of the city's wells shut down after the MotorSaver went out.
Officials say the all clear was given after two consecutive days of clean testing.
