LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) - Long Beach Police Chief Wayne McDowell says the victim to a burglary in Long Beach hid while a burglary took place at her home Friday morning in Long Beach.

According to McDowell, Long Beach police received a phone call from a family member of the victim, who said the woman was hiding while someone broke into her home.

Once police arrived, the suspect, 43-year-old Winfred Derone Bolding, of Gulfport was reportedly seen by officers leaving the victim's home.

When officers arrested Bolding, they found items stolen from another home in Long Beach. The back door to the other home was kicked in, according to Chief McDowell.

Chief McDowell says all the stolen items were returned to the owners.

Bolding was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000 bond set by Judge Diane Ladner pending further court action. He was charged with burglary and burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
