D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - D'Iberville Police Chief Wayne Payne tells WLOX News fire crews spent part of Wednesday afternoon battling a massive fire at Park at Lemoyne Apartments on Gorenflo Road. Now, firefighters are working to extinguish the remaining hotspots.

D'Iberville fire officials tell us the call came in around 4:45 p.m. They said the fire was limited to the complex office and pool pump room, and there were no injuries.

Fire officials said there is not a fire suppression system in the office, because it is not required by law.

Authorities do not believe foul play was involved in the blaze. Fire officials say all residents should be back in their homes by tonight.
