ST. MARTIN, MS (WLOX) - Residents who like to go boating won't be able to access a popular boat ramp in St. Martin for about a week. Part of the road leading to the Fort Bayou Boat Ramp will be closed starting Monday, Sept. 22.
Only the section just past the bridge will be affected. Crews will install metal rods under the road to reinforce the new bulkheads on both sides of the road. They will also re-pave the road.
The $700,000 project should be completed by November.
