Local High School football players ranked among nations best

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - St. Stanislaus quarterback Myles Brennan has been airing out the football helping lead the Rockachaws to a perfect 3-0 record heading into Friday's showdown with undefeated St. Martin.

According to MaxPrep.com passing statistics, Brennan leads the nation with 1,105 yards passing.  He's completed 63 of 95 passing attempts with 8 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.  Brennan is completing 66 percent of his passes and carries a 125.1 quarterback rating.

In the receiving department, Brennan's teammate, Owen Betz ranks No. 92 with 305 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns.  He's averaging 21.8 yards per catch.

Moss Point running back Nate Cohen ranks No. 88 in rushing.  Cohen has 490 yards rushing for the Tigers with 7 touchdowns, netting 8.0 yards per carry.

Defensively, Ocean Springs linebacker Vincent Milanese ranks 15th in the nation with 49 total tackles.  Milanese has 25 solo stops and 24 assists.

St. Martin linebacker Jamal Lydie ranks No. 39 in tackles with 43.  He has 23 solo and 20 assists.
