GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Two young men are facing felony burglary charges after allegedly admitting to breaking into a Gulfport school.
According to court documents, investigators claim three young men went into Bayou View Middle School around 1:40 Saturday morning and left with 21 laptop computers. One of those accused in the burglary may be a student at the school, court documents state one of the suspects told a classmate he had planned to steal the computers.
Gulfport police told WLOX News, 19-year-old Christopher Stecker of Gulfport and a juvenile were arrested and charged in the burglary. Police have not said anything about the third suspect named in the court documents.
Investigators also wrote in the documents that the two suspects arrested both admitted to burglarizing Bayou View Middle School.
No word yet if Gulfport police have recovered any of the stolen computers.
