Hobby Lobby holds ribbon cutting, grand opening

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Hobby Lobby opened its doors on Monday morning in Savannah with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The Savannah store is Hobby Lobby's 29th location in Georgia.

The store manager and shoppers are ready to get their crafts on!

"Fabulous," said customer Katherin Brown. "Everything you want, you could find. It was great in there. I came on Saturday as well. I brought my family back today. It's just great."

The 59,000-square-foot store will provide 35 to 50 jobs that will pay $14 an hour for full time and $9.50 an hour for part-time work. The store is located on Abercorn Street in the Southcase Shopping Center.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

All Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sunday.
