Tweeting Tigers take off for Houston ready to tackle the Badgers

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

The LSU Tigers take on the Wisconsin Badgers in their season opener Saturday night. The 13th ranked Tigers will square off against the 14th ranked Badgers in Houston.

It will be the fourth time in five years that LSU plays a ranked, non-conference opponent at a neutral site to start the season.

LSU tweeted out a team-selfie of the team on the plane. It was captioned, "The Tigers have boarded the plane. Next stop: Houston. #FridayFocus @ESPNCFB"

The Tigers had nine players drafted into the NFL this spring, which led the country. Yet LSU continues to reload. Their signing class was ranked second behind only Alabama, and there was no individual ranked ahead of Leonard Fournette, who has all the talent to be one of the best running backs in program history.
