BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) -

Construction work at the Bay High School football stadium is moving quickly.

The reconstruction project hit a snag this summer when the water table level caused heavy equipment to sink into the field.

School leaders say the varsity football team will miss two home games as a result of the delay, but the project should be completed before this year's football season is over.

The field is expected to be ready by the end of September for the Bay High Tigers to host home games again.
