Construction of the Silver Slipper is back on track

HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

The concrete work on the first floor of the new hotel going up at the Silver Slipper Casino is now finished in Hancock County.

Casino officials say after it dries over the weekend the steel framing work will start on the six story hotel.

The hotel will be attached to the Westside of the casino and accommodate 142 guests.

Casino leaders say after a string of delays, the project is now back on track.
