CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Construction equipment vs. Belhaven University guardhouse

Belhaven University has begun construction on the new University Village, the new on-campus apartments that were announced last spring as part of a special $4 million gift. 

According the university's Facebook page, they knew that one of the toughest challenges would be getting the construction equipment into the center of campus.

Well, this is one way to make room for construction crews.

As the construction crews entered the university on Tuesday, they successfully demolished the guard house. The good news is that no one was hurt.

The incident was then uploaded to Belhaven University's YouTube page. 

According to Belhaven University's website, the new University Village will be 33 high quality apartments with four bedrooms each, fully furnished rooms, a fitness center and "New Orleans-style" courtyard among other features.

They say that it will be completed for students to move in during August, 2015.
