BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Chris Christie may get a chance to enjoy Lobster Georgo on his trip to Biloxi Wednesday. He'll definitely enjoy Mississippi's southern hospitality.
His itinerary says the New Jersey governor and head of the Republican Governors Association stops by Mary Mahoney's at 3:45 Wednesday afternoon with Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant. They're expected to host a meet and greet with GOP supporters at the restaurant.
Afterward, Christie will participate in private functions for the Republican Governors Association, and later for Gov. Bryant.
Christie will spend Wednesday in the south. Before his appearance in Biloxi, he visits republican supporters in Alabama.
Gov. Christie was once considered a front-runner for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination. But, bridge issues in New Jersey seemed to derail that possibility. Recently, his name has surfaced again as a potential candidate. However, he has not indicated if he will run for president.
