PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Jackson County's chancery clerk is calling it quits. Instead of running for another four year term, Terry Miller just announced his retirement. Miller says he wants to spend more time with his family and friends.
Miller has been the chancery clerk for 17 years.
County elections are next year. And Miller's name won't be on ballots. His resignation will be effective December 31, 2015.
He told supervisors his plan is to serve full time until his retirement date.
