Over a dozen East Texas restaurants received perfect scores in the latest inspection period.

In Longview, Raising Canes at 212 East Loop 281 had a perfect score.

In Smith County, perfect scores were awarded to:

Whataburger #967, at 16772 FM 2493 # 101, Tyler.

The Stand, at 16700 FM 2493 #1600, Tyler.

Whataburger #580, at 1717 South Southeast Loop 323, Tyler.

Starbucks Coffee #9616, at 1817 East Southeast Loop 323, Tyler

Schlotzsky's #1, at 709 South Beckham, Tyler

Mulligan's Grille, at 6212 West County road 152, in Bullard

Donuts Plus, at 18748 South Highway 69, Tyler

Donut Palace, at 5530 Old Jacksonville, Tyler

Quick & Healthy, at 102 North College #101, Tyler

Burger King, at 530 South Southwest Loop 323, Tyler

El Charro on the Ridge, at 6899 Oak Hill Blvd., Tyler

Chris and Sam's Bar & Grill, at 2210 Three Lakes Parkway #140, Tyler

Wing Stop, at 1918 East Southeast Loop 323, Tyler

Paleteria Polar, 725 North Bois D' Arc, Tyler

    Governor Phil Bryant was in Jackson County Friday to make several big economic announcements. Trent Lott Airport will soon see runway improvements as part of a $7.5 million project. And a $3.7 million investment will create 60 high-tech jobs at Northrop Grumman's Unmanned Systems facility in Moss Point.
