19-year-old arrested for murder, charges against another man dropped

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police have arrested a man for murder and dropped charges against another man originally accused of the crime.

Michael Gaston, 19, was arrested and charged with the murder of 22-year-old Sheymarr Noble on Thursday.

Tyler Jones, 19, had been charged with murder and felonious assault in the case. Those charges have since been dropped.

The shooting happened around 3 p.m. Sunday, May 25 on Joffre Avenue.

Sheymarr Noble, 22, was pronounced deceased at 3:45 p.m. that day at the hospital.

Several other people were injured in the shooting.

Police say a large number of people were outside their homes when some individuals began fighting for an unknown reason. During the fight, shots were fired and chaos erupted.
