Miami sportscaster puts up taunting billboard in Akron

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

LeBron James took his talents to South Beach, won two championships, and is returning home.

And then, an interesting billboard pops up in Akron.

The billboard has a picture of two championship rings and reads "You're welcome, LeBron. Love, Miami." It's above a building on the corner of Tallmadge Avenue and Damon Street. Plenty of cars pass by it and people were stopping to take a look.

"I don't think it matters at this point, he's back," said one driver.

"We got LeBron though. Jokes on them I guess," said another.

Dan Le Batard, a sports talk personality and writer in Miami is behind the billboard. He tried to get it in the Plain Dealer and Akron Beacon Journal but it was shut down.

We tried to get in touch with Le Batard but another person affiliated with the show said they had no comment.
