17 people arrested in Elyria heroin ring

ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) -

Just last week, seven people were arrested in Elyria and Lorain in a heroin trafficking ring led by Wayne Norris. 

Today, 17 more were arrested in connection. 

All 17 suspects either purchased heroin from Norris or another member of his organization. They used it to support their own addiction or to sell to other users. 

The following suspects were arrested: 

Jordan Burke, 23, of Norwalk
Christopher Alexander, 29, Elyria
Mickey Metheney, 30, Elyria
Garrett Padgett, 30, North Ridgeville
Gregory Smink, 29, Elyria
Cody Yourich, 23, Wellington
Christopher Songer, 32, Elyria
Lucas McMullen, 32, LaGrange
Larry Moore, 21, LaGrange
Kenedy Schultz, 22, Elyria
Josh Truman, 30, LaGrange
Cheryna Samples, 20, Lorain
Stacey Hollis, 25, Barberton
Albert Hollis, 49, Elyria
Megan Foky, 19, Elyria
Joshua McDaniel, 30, Elyria

Police say they expect even more arrests in the future.
