BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A night parade just might return to Biloxi's Carnival schedule. Members of the Krewe of Neptune tell WLOX News they want permission to roll their colorful floats through downtown Biloxi on the Saturday before Mardi Gras.

The plan is to start Neptune's weekend parade just as the sun is setting over Biloxi. If approved, it will be the first time Biloxi has hosted a night parade since before Hurricane Katrina.

For the last several years, Neptune has rolled on Mardi Gras day, right behind the Gulf Coast Carnival Association.
