Byram police searching for Cookie Monster

BYRAM, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Byram Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect that burglarized the kitchen area of the Holiday Inn Express in Byram.

At about 5 pm on Monday, surveillance video shows an unidentified black male exiting a side door of the hotel with a garbage can and plastic bag believed to be filled with stolen miscellaneous food items.

According to the Byram Police Department, it seems the man stole cookies.

The suspect is believed to have left the hotel in a dark colored Honda Accord or similar vehicle.
