KOSCIUSKO, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Dozens of stolen weapons taken from a Kosciusko firearms dealer are now in the hands of criminals. The suspects got away with more than $10,000.00 in firearms.

The business owner said when the crooks entered Central Mississippi Firearms early Monday morning their entire heist was caught on surveillance video.

Business owner, Doyle Goss, said thieves tore through the wall of Central Mississippi Firearms on Highway 35 north in Kosciusko early Monday to empty display cases of weapons.

It appears two men crawled on the floor to avoid alarm motion detectors as they moved about the store.

Around 2:30 in the morning they began prying open four display cases. Goss said it took 17 minutes to steal firearms that included handguns and SKS rifles.

He discovered the break-in when he arrived work Monday, first noticing the missing assault rifles that were hanging on the wall. The two are seen in the video working in unison as they cleared the shelves of merchandise.

According to Goss, authorities recovered one handgun in Durant ,and two people were detained for questioning.

Kosciusko Police Department investigator Bryce Cole said an investigation is ongoing, and they have a few suspects. He said the ATF is now involved. No arrests have been made.

We spoke with more than a dozen people along Highway 12 in Kosciusko who were not aware of the heist and declined to comment.

This is the second break in at the business in about a year.

A cash reward is being offered. Call Kosciusko Police at 662-289-3131if you know anything about this crime.
