Company recalls beverage dispensers sold at Publix

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A company is recalling thousands of beverage dispensers that were sold exclusively at Publix Super Markets.

Far East Brokers of Jacksonville issued a safety recall for a glass beverage dispenser set that includes a metallic stand. The dispensers sold at the grocery for about $25 and holds up to 1.7 gallons of liquid. The item number, 962826 FEB44496-01-113, and barcode number, 11546-34437, are included on the packaging.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the metal stand can break, posing an injury hazard. There has been one injury reported in association with this recall.

The manufacturer is issuing a refund to consumers who purchased the dispenser; call Far East Brokers at 1-877-695-8354 for more information.
