Have you been wondering where Prince Charming has been all your life? Well, look no further. Unfortunately though, he's off the market.

"Marriage is created for one purpose and one purpose only -- and that is to further point us to what our relationship is to you, Father..."

That is the prayer that Seth Conerly, of Hattiesburg, said in front of his friends and family as he was about to take a huge step in his life -- proposing to his girlfriend.

"Thank you for sending Taylor into my life. She is abundantly so much more than I could have hoped for..."

Conerly, the student pastor at Venture Church in Hattiesburg, planned an elaborately themed proposal, based on Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, for his girlfriend, Taylor Townsend, for months before finally popping the question on July 18.

Conerly told us, "The idea came to me while watching Cinderella with Taylor on Broadway in New York in March. It was one of those moments where everything hit me all at once like a lightning bolt. It all lined up perfectly because Taylor had played the part of Cinderella in Jackson Prep's production of the same musical when she was in high school. "

Conerly said that he couldn't have done it without the help of his team of friends that he works with at Venture Church, who pull off dynamic and creative services on a weekly basis to reach young people for Christ.

He said they all worked on it together for many weekends leading up to the proposal.

"I also wanted to add an additional personal touch to the set as Taylor walked toward the stage. Taylor gave me a sketchbook for Christmas that she personally filled with topics on each page for me to sketch. Not only did I sketch them, but also I turned a number of them into paintings," Conerly said. "My associate pastor and I then proceeded to create large tree silhouettes that we would hang lights on as well as the paintings to make it extra special for Taylor as she walked down the aisle."

When the big day finally arrived, Townsend, a native of Rankin County, was escorted by her brother into Jackson Prep's auditorium. The very auditorium where she performed in the musical many years ago.

Conerly surprises Townsend, as well as anyone else watching the video, with a beautiful rendition of "Do I love you because your beautiful?" from the musical. For those of you who don't know, that's the song that Prince Charming sings leading up to his proposal to Cinderella.

That's when Conerly hits a knee and pops the question to Townsend. And -- of course -- she said "YES"!

And who wouldn't?

"I was so excited with how it all turned out and even more excited that Taylor loved it!" Conerly told us. "Above all else, I wanted to make Taylor feel truly loved and cherished; she is more than I could have ever hoped for or imagined! Christ pursues a relationship with us, and marriage is meant to be a picture of that relationship. Consequently, the least I can do to show love for the woman of my dreams is to draw a few pictures, sing a song, and wear a goofy costume."

Congratulations to Taylor and Seth on their engagement!

And thank you to Seth, who has shown women that Prince Charmings aren't just found in fairy tales.
