It's been a long time coming, but the Pass Christian Harbor was officially dedicated last week. It's another step to recovery and growth in this post Katrina era. It took $35 million, lots of hard work and of course plenty of paper work and permits.
We look forward to a harbor routine of boats with shrimp or oysters loading their catch onto waiting trucks. Congratulations Pass Christian on this successful project catering to the seafood industry.
We agree with Mayor Chipper McDermott who says, "We're celebrating not just a harbor, but a way of life."
