While the watch lists for on-field achievements continue to come in, there is one that has recognized two Palmetto State players for what they've done off the field.

South Carolina quarterback Dylan Thompson and Clemson wide receiver Adam Humphries are two of a record 182 nominees for this season's Allstate AFCA Good Works team.

"It's great to see all the ‘good works' these student-athletes are doing at their universities and in their communities," Grant Teaff, AFCA executive director said. "The AFCA is proud to work with Allstate in highlighting the record number of nominees sent in for the 2014 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team."

The AFCA Good Works is made up of 11 players from the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision as well as 11 players from the Football Championship Subdivision, Divisions II, III, and the NAIA. The nominees recognizes athletes for their efforts in athletics and academics while highlighting their impact on their respective communities.

The voting panel will announce the final team members in September.
