JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

A Jackson County jury found a Pascagoula man guilty of three counts of aggravated assault on Wednesday. Dominic Carlos Robinson was sentenced to serve 30 years in prison followed by 10 years on probation for shooting several people at a Moss Point nightclub in 2011.

"The victims suffered serious and permanent injuries at the hand of the defendant.  I am proud that the victims were finally able to see and hear justice rendered by the citizens on the jury and the defendant held accountable for his actions on March 6, 2011," said District Attorney Tony Lawrence.

According to authorities, Robinson was thrown out of Crème de la Crème nightclub by security guards after being involved in an altercation. Officials said Robinson later returned to the club and shot several people both inside and outside the establishment.

Of the three people injured in the shooting, one of the victims is paralyzed and another must walk with the assistance of a cane.
