TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

The real estate blog Movoto has ranked the most exciting places in Arizona based on items such as nightlife, music venue and the quality of restaurants.

Tempe ranked No. 1 in part because of its young population.

Flagstaff came in No. 2 with a vibrant arts community.

Tucson ranked third with arts, nightlife and a young population.

No. 4 went to Scottsdale, which they believe has the best nightlife in the state.

Prescott ranked No. 5 for its outdoor options for active people.

Cottonwood ranked sixth, Paradise Valley seventh, and Chandler eighth. Phoenix and Casas Adobes tied to round out the top 10.
