Myra Lewis: "No footprints to follow"

MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

"There's no footprints to follow, there's no magic wand, you can imagine it's frustrating," said Sheriff Randy Tucker during a press conference, updating the media on the Myra Lewis case.

2 year old Myra went missing on March first in Camden.

Sheriff Randy Tucker said tips continue to come in to his office, and they've followed up on dozens of leads, which have only led them to dead ends.

"I haven't ruled anything out," said Tucker. "I can't accuse anybody but I can't eliminate anybody.  Nothing has proved fruitful in finding Myra. We've gotten some interesting leads we have followed them optimistic only to be deflated when we get to the end. it's frustrating as I said but were going to continue to look."

The FBI continues to assist in the Myra Lewis case. Sheriff Tucker urges the public to keep calling in tips.

He also says he will have extra deputies out on the 4th weekend, continuing the search, and looking for DUI and other motor vehicle violations.

A reward of over $20,000.00 is still being offered for information in Myra's disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Jackson FBI at 601-948-5000.
