Former Clerk indicted for altering marriage records to have conjugal visits with inmate

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A former Hinds County Deputy Circuit Clerk is accused of creating a false marriage license to show she was legally married to a Department of Corrections inmate so she could have conjugal visits.

Thirty-two year old Kimberly Keonna Turner, aka Kimberly Keonna Gibson, of Terry, was indicted by a Hinds County Grand Jury. She was arrested at her home by U. S. Marshals with help from Hinds County deputies.

The case will be prosecuted by the Mississippi Attorney General's Public Integrity Division.
