Police: Chicago visitors arrested with crack, fake credit cards

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Officers called to investigate a complaint about noise and possible marijuana use at a Biloxi condo got more than they expected Tuesday morning.

Six people, all from Chicago, were arrested and charged with Possession of Counterfeit Instruments and Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine.

Investigators said in addition to finding a large amount of crack, they also found several counterfeit credit cards, and the tools used to make more.

Those arrested include: Lajuane Johnson, 29; Melvin Lofton, 27; Cassandra Jackson, 22; Brandy Jeffries, 31; Karla Lucas, 28; and Ishana Jackson, 28.

Total bond was for each suspect was set at $275,000, and they were being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
