Myra Lewis: Missing 4 months, no new developments

MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Tuesday marked the four month Anniversary since the disappearance of a local toddler. Still, the search for 2 year old Myra Lewis continues.

Lewis disappeared from her Camden home on March first. Since then, there has only been one possible sighting of the child in Memphis, but investigators later ruled that wasn't her.

For several days, investigators led an intense search of the family property and nearby land, but little Myra was never found. The FBI was then called in, and has been assisting in the search ever since.

Tuesday, Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker released a statement saying there have been no new developments in the case, but his office still hopes to return Myra home safely.

Investigators continue to work the case, and are following up on all leads.

The Myra Lewis "Help Find Me" Facebook page is still very active, where new pictures of Myra are posted on a regular basis.

They're now asking people to print, and put up flyers with her picture.

The F-B-I is offering a $20,000.00 reward for information on the child's whereabouts.

Crime Stoppers has up to a $2,500.00 reward.

Anyone with information on here whereabouts is asked to call the FBI at 601-948-5000.

Sheriff Tucker says he plans to hold a press conference Thursday, where we could learn more details about the latest in the investigation.
