Friday night shooting suspect turns himself in to police

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

On Friday, June 27 at approximately 11 p.m. Auburn Police responded to a shots fired call at a residence in the 70 block of Lee Road 872. 

When officers arrived on the scene they were informed that 25-year-old Kendrick O. Hill from Auburn had been involved in an altercation with the resident and fired several shots at him, striking his residence. 

No one was injured in the incident and the residence sustained minor damage. 

An investigation was initiated by Auburn Police and a warrant was subsequently obtained for his arrest. 

On Saturday, June 28, 2014 the Auburn Police Division arrested Hill after he turned himself in to detectives at the Auburn Police Division on a felony warrant. He was charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and probation violation.

He was transported to the Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $50,000 bond.
