One more charged in stolen weapons case

MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) -

Another person has been indicted in a federal gun case. According to the ATF, 24-year-old Damian Towne is accused of breaking into a Moss Point home with two others and stealing 48 weapons. He was already in jail on other charges.

Towne is the eighth person to be  indicted on federal and state charges in connection with this case.

Authorities say many of the stolen guns were sold shortly after the burglary. Some were recovered, but seven machine guns and nearly 30 other weapons remain missing.
