Search over: Missing Wolf River tubers found safe

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

The four people who were reported lost on the Wolf River have been found. They were located Tuesday morning on Tally Shaw Road by Department of Marine Resources officers.

The group was part of a tube float trip from Silver Run Bridge in Pearl River County. Officials said the tubers thought the trip to Highway 53 would take four to six hours, but the 15 to 20 mile river trip actually takes a minimum of 12 hours.

The missing group members were found some time after midnight walking, and everyone was safe.
