Authorities need help solving string of Warren Co car burglaries

WARREN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Warren County authorities need help solving several car break-ins.

According to the Vicksburg Post, five vehicles, including a marked sheriff's deputy patrol car, were burglarized this week.

A 1992 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was hit on Oak Ridge Road. Someone pried the door open to a deputy's cruiser on Villanova Drive.

Two revolvers were stolen from a Ford F-250 and a 2010 Lincoln in the same driveway on Villanova Place.

We are also told a checkbook went missing from a 2001 Honda Accord on Henry Road.

If you know anything about these break-ins, call the Warren County Sheriff's Department or Crimestoppers.

Christmas, it is the season to be jolly. It seems that everybody is on the streets as we count down the days for Christmas shopping.
