Today the Norman Regional Health System of Oklahoma donated $48,000 to the Winston County Medical Center.

The Oklahoma health system is also recovering from a tornado that hit in its area last year. Approximately 130 of the Winston County hospital's 240 employees were laid off after the tornado.

Hospital officials say the affected employees will each receive a share of the money.
