KENNER, LA (WLOX) -
An arrest warrant has been issued for Terry Speaks in the murder of Jaren Lockhart. Kenner Police Chief Steve Caraway said the warrant is for second degree murder and obstruction of justice.

Lockhart was last seen leaving a New Orleans nightclub with Speaks and Margaret Sanchez in June of 2012. A few days later, Lockhart's dismembered body parts washed up in Hancock and Harrison Counties.

Speaks remains in a federal prison in New York on unrelated charges. He is expected to be released in October and will then be extradited to Louisiana to face the charges in Lockhart's murder and another charge for failing to register as a sex offender.

Sanchez was arrested May 7th also for second degree murder and obstruction of justice related to Lockhart's murder. She remains in jail on a $750,000 bond.
