Ole Miss heads to College World Series

OXFORD, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Ole Miss is headed to the College World Series!

The team's 42-year College World Series drought ended Monday night with their 10-4 win over Louisiana-Lafayette in the deciding game of the Lafayette Super Regional.

Pinch-hitter Holt Perdzock hit a game winning two-run double in the ninth inning.

U-L-L lost back-to-back games for the first time all season.

Ole Miss will play Virginia on Sunday in its first game of the College World Series.
