'Pitch Perfect 2' announces casting call for people visually impaired and over 50

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

If you know someone who is visually impaired and over the age of 50, they could end up appearing in an upcoming movie.

The movie Pitch Perfect 2 is looking for five or six people who meet the criteria.

Officials said they would like to cast a family member, friend or caregiver to work with them on set and portray a caregiver in the movie.

They said the visually impaired person and caregiver will both be paid for their work and time. They added it should be a fun scene.

The scene is scheduled for shooting on Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10, so both parties should be available to work those days.

Officials added the scene will include a fun performance by an A cappella groups in a casino building, so the background actors that are cast should be okay in an environment that may contain smoke.

If you are interested, send an email to: pp2casting@gmail.com using the subject line: CAREGIVER/BLIND.

The names, ages, contact phone numbers and email addresses of both the visually impaired person and the caregiver should be included. Officials would also like some photos of both.
