Grand Biloxi becomes Harrah's Gulf Coast this weekend

Posted: Updated:
BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

It's easy to spot the latest sign of change along Biloxi's beachfront. Tuesday, the signs atop the hotel at what used to be Grand Casino Biloxi were changed. By this weekend, Grand Biloxi will disappear, and staffers will officially call the resort Harrah's Gulf Coast.

Darius Rucker is set to perform June 21 to help Harrah's Gulf Coast celebrate the completion of a multi million dollar renovation. The country star's concert will be at the new outdoor pavilion being built along Highway 90, across the street from Harrah's hotel.

Several new restaurants are also heralding a change at the resort from the high end Magnolia House by Chef Kelly English to the popular burger chain Steak n' Shake.
