Police: Biloxi man attempted to steal from hospital

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Officials with the Biloxi Police Department tell WLOX News a man is behind bars after he tried to steal a piece of equipment from the Biloxi Regional Medical Center on Saturday.

Authorities said 37-year-old Ricky Derek Henderson, of Biloxi, was caught on surveillance video trying to steal a large piece of equipment from the hospital. Officials said everything Henderson attempted to steal was recovered.

Lt. Chris De Back said Henderson was arrested without incident at his residence five hours later. De Back said Henderson is charged with grand larceny. He is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
