BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Both historic and modern boats were docked at the Biloxi Schooner Pier Complex this weekend for the annual Gulf Coast Wooden Boat Show.
Hundreds of spectators came out to see these eye catching, one of a kind boats. Boating enthusiasts, from as far away as Texas and Florida, made the trek to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the show.
Buddy Gunn, who is from Ocean Springs, brought five boats to showcase. Three of them are named after his grandchildren. Last year, one of his boats won first place in its category.
"I think it's rather nostalgic, sort of like the Cruisin' the Coast in the fall. People just really love seeing old things and remembering when," said Gunn.
The show is being held at the Biloxi Schooner Pier Complex and will wrap up on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
