BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

We shared with you a viewer complaint several weeks ago about Alfred C. Collins and Sons Automotive Repair.

According to the business license offices in Birmingham and Jefferson County, the business is closed.

Myron Ruffin told FOX6 he paid $3,400 to repair his Dodge Challenger. He got it back after four months but it wasn't fixed. He now has to pay another repair shop to do the job.

The location we have been reporting about is on 2nd Avenue North in Birmingham.

Gwendolyn Collins says her husband Alfred Collins has passed away. Gwendolyn Collins also says she owns the building. She says her son Walter Collins owns and operates the business but she is not associated with the business.

As for Myron Ruffin, he has contacted an attorney and says he wants his $3,400 returned to him.
