JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

A Jefferson County judge has revoked the bond of a murder suspect.

Monday, several witnesses testified in a hearing that suspect Markeith Hall, 34, has been threatening them.

Hall will be booked into the Jefferson County Jail on no bond.

Hall and Refeal Peoples were charged with murder in the October 2013 death of Kennis Rucker.

Rucker was at his girlfriend's house when Hall and Peoples came to allegedly pick up Hall's child. Authorities say there was some sort of argument and Rucker shut the door on the two men. Investigators say that one of the two men then fired shots through the door, fatally injuring Rucker.

Rucker was a veteran and the son of a Jefferson County Sheriff's Office lieutenant.
