Saints pick WR Brandin Cooks

With the 20th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints have drafted Wide Receiver Brandin Cooks from Oregon State.

General Manager Mickey Loomis traded up to the 20th pick to select Cooks. With a dynamite receiving back Darren Sproles gone to Philadelphia, as well as Lance Moore to the other side of Pennsylvania joining the Steelers, the Saints needed another offensive weapon.

Cooks had the second fastest 40-yard dash time at this year's NFL combine, coming in at 4.33 seconds.
