D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) -

Police in D'Iberville are searching for the man who robbed the Shell Station on Automall Parkway early Thursday morning.

Investigators told WLOX News the robber went in around 3:45am, and implied to the clerk that he had a gun. The clerk was at the back of the store in the cooler, and he ordered her to come up front. As she started making her way to the register, she dashed into the office and locked the door.

Police said the robber then jumped over the counter, grabbed several cartons of cigarettes, and left the store. He only made off with merchandise, no money.

The robber is described as a light skinned black man wearing a bandana and a gray hoodie. He's about 5'10" tall and heavy set.

If you have any information that could help investigators, call Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at (877) 787-5898.
